Default Rough some days

I have had this on again off again roughness throughout the powerband. It doesn't seem to be temperature (either outside or engine) dependent. Some days the car runs like a sewing machine and some days it runs like it has a miss. Most of the usual suspects have been eliminated, plugs, wires, rotor, fuel pump, fuel filter, DME relay etc.

I have narrowed it down to the TPS or the FPR. I think it is the TPS because I have noticed it is worse if I touch or pump the gas (old bad habits) before starting the car. On the same day it is like having 2 different cars.

THoughts????

Took the AFM apart tonight and followed Clark's garage procedure for cleaning and moving the contact. Also sprayed carb cleaner down into the TPS and worked the throttle cam.

Zing seems to be back and the roughness is gone. We'll see what it is doing tomorrow morning.

Ran fine on the way to work this morning.

Highly recommend the AFM adjust and clean procedure as well as cleaning the TPS technique.

Thanks for all the help!
