Post Need Torque for Motor bracket to engine??

What is the torque for the four bolts that connect the motor mount bracket to the engine?

Appreciate the help.

Thanks?

Oops, sorry, I thought you meant motor mount to bracket (two per side). The four bolts that hold the engine support to the crank case are 35 ft lbs

Clarify what bolt you are referring to and the size of the bolt. I think there is some confusion on which bolts you are referring. Wrong torque equals stripped or broken bolts. Motor mounts are not cheap.

To clarify, I am looking to install the 4 bolts that connect the motor bracket/support to the engine case. Not the engine motor mount bolts to the bracket. Is 35Ft-lbs the correct torque for these bolts?

Yes, 35 ftlbs (or 48 Nm if you prefer) is the correct torque as listed in the factory manual for the four M10 bolts that hold each engine support to the crankcase. There is one engine support on either side of the engine. Unless you have the header off, you will have a bitch of a time getting to the bolts on the exhaust side.

The torque for the M8 bolts for each motor mount to support mount connection is 17 ftlb or 23 Nm. The are two bolts per motor mount

The torque for the nut to fasten the motor mount to the cross member is also 35 ftlb
