Default Any way to get rid of flat spots on tires?

A moron driver in front of me panicked at something simple and slammed her brakes. When I went to hit my brakes they locked up, and instead of pumping I tried to just feather it out and well that didn't work... the fronts just stayed locked for a good 3 seconds. Now I have a "dup dup dup dup dup" sound.

These tires are michelin and they have a fair amount of tread left. Is there any way to work out the flat spots? Can I try mounting them on the rear and doing a few burn outs to even out the tires (wear them down to the depth of the flat spot)? If it makes any difference it's an '84 with 15" Fuchs.

I'm surprised the ABS allowed that to happen. Is your ABS working?

Sorry, don't know if there's any cure for the flat spots. Annoying.

I'm suprised you weren't able to outbrake her.
You must have been right up her tailpipe...
No way to get rid of the flatspots that I know of.

See if anyone shaves tires in your area (racers might know).

I have that problem with my trailers from sitting over the winter. I just take it out on a hot day heating up the tires and somehow I lose the flat spot. Good luck.

Shave or replace if it's that bad. You might also try moving them to the back, won't be as bad.

Idk why, but I got an effing kick out of that.

My buddy is stupid and likes to slam on his brakes alot for some unknown reason, but he'll just do a few burnouts and it takes them away for the most part. But idk if I'd recommend it.
