bleh. i emailed marc and he said its PCA members only this weekend. 
i thought the thing on saturday was members only but sunday was a normal event. guess not. guess im not going. i was lookin forward to it too!

naw.. it sucks. i could by so many lovely things with that money that i dont have. besides, my friend w/ the rsx was actually going to come this time. so everyone has to be a member of PCA now? bleh. i dont see what the big deal is...

I think its just for this event because its right after the autocross school.
The big deal is that some people were screwing around out front at the last autox, and the cops came and bugged the guys running the autox...so metro NY wasn't too happy about that...now they are taking drivers license #'s when you register...I don't think they will make it PCA only for all events though.

i just turned 18 and joined PCA this month, apparently the drivers ed on saturday is full but im gonna go watch on sunday just so i can say i went to my first porsche club event woohoo
hey, maybe ill meet some rich porsche racer who wants to give me a job in a porsche store or something? ill work for employee discounts on parts! yea... probibly not
oh yea, i have asked this before with no response but now that i have the attention of local porsche drivers, where is a good place to get my clutch done in suffolk county? im buying all the parts my self tomorrow i just need a mechanic for the installation

I wonder if the State Troopers pressent at the last NNJR event are due to this?

well.. i guess im not going to this one but ill go to the one in july...
dan.. i dont know how good this place is but its close to you and my car was serviced here before i bought it (per the sticker they stuck on the underside of my hood). they seemed nice when i called them to get info on my cars repair history.

There are at least 4 auto-x's in our area this weekend- m-club and NNJR scca on saturday, NASA and PCA on sunday. If you were all hopped up to auto-x on sunday check out the NASA one at giants stadium.
Almost forgot there is another SCCA one up in Rome on sunday as well.

Yeah sold the S, it was time to move on got 4K for it...that's what I was asking. Driving a 2002 Subaru WRX now, picked up about three weeks ago. The car is sweet, and there are a ton of go-fast parts for it so I have a few years of modding fun in front of me.
