Default Anyone selling drivers side mirror glass?

I was just driving home from work, turned a corner and I hear glass breaking. Look to my left and see my driver's side mirror glass GONE!

I guess the age of the car and the cold weather proved to be too much for the glue holding the glass.

Anyone have one for sale? I need it immediately!

Look on ebay. Usually there all the time.

Check your local junk yard or check out any local racing groups that run 944s in your area - they'll sell them cheap as they are normally removed for weight savings.

I actually found one on Ebay so I ordered it.

Thanks for the recommendations!

FYI: you can go to any autoglass shop and they order a new one for like $20 and have it next day. I've done this 3 times over the years. Just make sure they order the convex one. Apparently the part numbers are almost identical or something.

I'll make sure to do that next time. It's strange driving without that mirror right now. Hopefully I'll receive mine shortly as it's something you really need to drive in traffic.

Do these things tend to pop off frequently? Why have you had to replace yours three times?
