Joe,
That is the AIR fiberglass splitter (I have a brand new you can have for 200). The ones we are making are from ABS/High Impact Plastic...flexible and impact resistant, unlike fiberglass

Welcome. I have always liked the 86 models. There were updates every year throughout the 951 production, but I have had lots of experiance with several 86 turbos and they always seemed to have something more. One in particular was brutal-fast. The kind of car that you did'nt nail it unless you could see a mile down the road, and even then your heart was jumping and your knees were shaking when you got out. The tires would chirp over every expansion joint in the freeway well into the triple digits.
Be very careful with this "toy". You will get a great deal of pleasure in Porsche ownership and you came to the right place here at Rennlist. Easily the greatest automotive forum on the web-you will get most of your questions answered here.

Hey, nice find! She looks like a beaut!
That interior could use a little TLC. The exterior looks great - I love the nosepanel.

Congrats and welcome. Beautiful car there. Be very careful with it until you know how well it is tuned. It only takes a split second to go from road warrior to road kill with these cars. The car looks familiar but I can't place it. I bet Jeremy Himsel would know for sure. Again welcome to the obsession.

damn that is a sweeeeeet deal welcome again !! im sure you can handle those small things in the car. that motor looks sick, one thing i like about turbos is all the extra piping and hardware lol.
LOL your wife is gonna love it lol. if that fails, then she will tell you to sleep in it LMAO
