So you just removed the back rest? What about the bottom portion of the seat? Maybe you should get one of those sweet club sport rear seat delete carpets.

no, i didnt remove the bottom because weightwise it is insignificant and provides good noise insulation. i made a speaker panel that covers the buckets and carpeted it to match the interior.

maybe tomorrow ill take a pic if its nice out.

I'd like to see some pics of that box. I want to make a speaker box there with cubby holes but I never seem to find the time

i did it over the course of a weekend. just got some cardboard to make a template, then once i got that right i transferred it to 1/4" MDF and did some trimming work, got that to fit good, carpeted it, cut holes for speakers, made brackets to secure it to the car..easy stuff. probably cost me $40 or less, but i got the speakers (brand new 6x9 blaupunkts) for like $15 at fry's on a big sale a while back.

If I could find a set yes. I'm sick of placing my board in the hatch and between the seats and getting wax all over them, but being they are the neoprene seat covers I can easily wash them.. it's just a pain.

I've been looking and watching for a rack set and no luck.

I would not mind getting the net as well but anyone got the word on that oem child seat. Nothing says sporty like having a 944 all modded out with a child seat.

i keep my kids pink princess booster seat in the back of my bmw convertible as a theft deterrent.

nothing says dont leave me stranded like a kid seat in the back. so far so good. maybe if i had one in my RX7, or Legend Coupe or 944S2 they wouldnt have gotten stolen. cheaper than insurance, and chicks dig it.
