Hmmm, maybe to gain room to bolt it to the turbo, it's damn tight in there. I'd hate to hear you have to take more stuff off to get her done. I intalled mine complete from intake to crossmember with the down pipe and crossover pipe on too. Tight squeeze but made it fine.

Cool man! Here's my update, I think I'm into the car a little further than just a swap. I got my GT Racing headlight bucket resprayed and the lights mounted. They may go back in tomorrow nite. I got my 17" Twists on too, DAMN they look sexy! Gloss black twists and the paint looks like it's about a foot deep. The clear turned out great on them! The brakes look nice behind there too. Everything is starting to look like a car again! I got the Fiberwek nose on too, not mounted permanent, but on with the lights in it. The further I get, the faster I want to work, I'm getting anxious!

Yet another update, got all the rest of the body parts painted with the exception of the chin spoiler. I will most likely be cutting it for duct work to the oil cooler. I got the rear valance, bumper and end caps on tonite too. I also made a cradboard mock-up of the oil cooler duct, it'll work good! Here's the quick lit of what is still needed...
finish interior, alot of BS, ugh
clamp fuel lines, after I buy clamps
tighten the beeotch fitting on the oil line, yeah, just one fitting left, got the rest
put the nose pan back on and tighten the nose
finish wiring the stereo system, need to buy connecters and a few RCA wires
I probably missed a few thing, but that's about it. I'm damn close, if cash and license permit, you'll see it at tge SW OH GTG! Wish me luck!

Well, the body parts are all on except the chin spoiler, door handles and mirror motors, the flags are on tho. I get paid tomorrow, maybe get this thing started in the next week or so? I'll throw up a post if I'm planning a first start party!

I'm trying to, I got a GTG to make! I don't know about the license deal, my next off day I'm just going up there, called for 4 days, always busy, argh! I may make it semi- legal, ssshhhhhh! Some restrictions are court imposed, some with the DMV. If I can get the state happy, I may squeek it.
