Hockey Duuuuuuuude!!! This Fest was a blast!! I remember getting 540 miles to the tank on my drive up from Charlotte. Coming through the Virginia mountains at full speed @ 5am was so much fun!

There were at least two last year to take the place of the "traditional" one at Nelson Ledges. One was in Georgia and the other was at our farm in Michigan.
We will be happy to host another one this summer if we don't have another option close to the Great Lakes area.
How about it Travis? What's the Fest plan look like for this year?

Fingers crossed that we do. And hoping its not on Father's Day weekend as I have to work EVERY Father's Day weekend.

Travis, Pittsburgh International Race Complex ("Pittrace") is less than 1 hour from Nelsons and will offer an expanded track this summer. http://www.pittrace.com/
This would be a great alternative to Nelsons, if that track is not available. Its in the same region so any of the traditional "Festers" would be able to attend without major changes in logistics. Its also very close to the airport, for anyone flying in.

Hi Guys! I've been watching the Pittrace website hoping for updates because they are hosting a Chump Car race there in the fall, if the new track is ready our team is certainly going. The only news seems to be an old local newspaper article talking about the planned extension. Do you have any more info about expected opening dates and progress?
I won't speak about the future of the 'Fest except to say I believe Travis has some big plans and I will let him announce them when he's ready!
Hope to see ya'll soon

Or I need to figure out a 944Fest West somewhere out on this side of the country. Anyone interested? Any ideas on where?
