Default Spark plug size???

For an S2, and I don't mean heat range, electrode length, gap, etc. I mean, I've got 19mm and 24mm deep sockets, and the plugs are somewhere in between.

I only want to make one trip to Sears - what size do I need to buy?

Thanks,
Scott

Be sure to get a proper spark plug socket. It will have a foam cylinder inside it to gently grip the ceramic insulator of the spark plug so you can pull it out of the hole. 3/8" drive is desirable.

Foam rubber. It needs to have some give to provide some compressive force on the insulator.

13/16" eh? My standard (non-spark plug specific) 3/8" drive deep socket won't fit into the spark plug well in the head, so maybe a 13/16" spark plug socket has thinner walls? I'll have a look-see at Sears today - thanks for the responses.

He means 3/8" drive, not socket size.

Standard spark plugs are either 5/8" or 13/16". In the case of the 944, it is 13/16"
