If you are looking for cheap...

I had good luck with an autozone duralast pump (~$250).

I just checked rockauto and they have a reman. beck/arnley on closeout for $84

As long as the casting is ok, (not pitted/destroyed from wrong antifreeze) a Reman unit is essentially new. Just make sure you get the correct one, as there are a ton of different part numbers.

Check Zims (www.allzim.com)

Second hand knowledge so take it for what its worth. I was told that rebuilt ones are just used ones in with any amount of mileage. Could break at anytime, the company just makes sure that it looks descent. knowledge came from Jsilverman so blame him. LOL

Zims has a very good reputation for rebuilt parts and your not likely to find someone else selling a pump for ~$86 (minus core) with a two year warranty. I've put them on before and wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

I have used well over a hundred rebuilt waterpumps without a problem. In fact, the only premature failure I have ever seen was with a new pump.......

++ for Zims. I just recently swapped my water pump for a re-manufactured unit from them. Upon inspection it looks great. Definitely would buy from them again.

Did the same thing with my starter as well, and was equally satisfied.

I have a 94online.com rebuilt pump.
Going on two years so far.

I see no problem with rebuilt pumps from a reputable supplier.
