Burning Brakes
I think it's fake,the 924S came out in 86',why would the prototype be a 88'.
Anyway,do you know the 924 prototype?

The GULF car in my avatar it was also '88 and with late dash, 5speed. I also thought that it's just a dash swap but when I removed all interior there where no signs it’s a swap.

I looks just like a 924S with a newer 944 interior, but I translated the text to English and it said it was a factory prototype and they have the documents to prove it. Gear selector bottom piece is different.

There was an 968 prototype on sale in Estonia couple years ago.
You can tell if it is original by checking former owners. If first owner is Porsche factory (or holding company) and it has been 1-st owner for several years, then it can be geniuine.
Also you can ask for VIN and check from Porsche.

Yes, fredis GT's Gulf racer that is now mine is original 924S with oval dash and it was NOT a conversion. Also VIN says it's an 944 from 82: WPOZZZ94ZCN600051.
And it was NOT a fake

It would be very difficult to build a platform capable of accepting an engine both in the front and the int rear / middle. The prototype seems like a combination of 968 and 924 with a little bit of 914 It would be nice anyway ! Are there any more photos ?
