Default Will 8-way power seats fit in car w/ 4-way power seats?
Anybody tried installling a set of 8-way power seats (ie: power forward/back, up/down) in a 944 that came with semi-power seats (ie: manual forward/back, but electric up/down)?

I am not sure if there are more connections (plugs) in a 8-way power seats vs semi-power seats if I install them. Is the seat motor usually part of the seat too?

im pretty sure the plugs are already there just need the seats.

The motor is not on the seats. I just replaced my seats on one of the cars. I replaced four way with four way though.

your good to go. they bolt right in (8 way heated seats FTW )

they only have 2 wires for power suply, so I think they should bolt right in.

Yup I had 8ways put in my '86 and they'll plug right in. My new ones were from a 911 and about a quarter inch higher than my '88.
