O-ring on the injectors.
Started up the car, idled it for 5 mins...no fuel leaks. Shut it down, tidy stuff up, put stuff back on (throttle cable and bolt down dipstick)..within 10 minutes the O-ring on injector #1 blew...its ripped to pieces.
I need to get to nyack tomorow for the dyno day..........g.dgjak;lkdfjg;lkfjgoia;vjkl;fdvf
I guess I'm gonna have to trash NSXfiles style tomorow morning at the auto parts stores....
I already checked one...they didn't have it.
One more of the same chain and 2 more of a different chain to check...

Now that I've dropped a couple bolts trying to bolt up the dipstick...I've given up for the night.
The throttle cable doesn't reach the mounting point on the TB if I bolt it up, should I adjust the throttle cable ( i see where) or will it fix itself? (Haha good luck...)

Tip on mounting the dipstick (engineer that came up with this design should be fired or shot!). Put the bolt in the dipstick-tube first, then gently clamp the backside with some needlenose vise-grips. This keeps the bolt on there as you position the entire assembly on the mounting tab. Next, easy way to reach this bolt is with a 1/4" 10mm universal socket with 6-8" extension. That's a 10mm socket with universal built-in, not a 10mm socket with a universal because it will be too long to fit.
For future applications, you can cut the slot that's in the dipstick-tube tab all the way down. Then you just loosen the bolt and pull the dipstick tube upwards and out without having to undo that bolt completely.
As for the throttle-cable, there's a grommit that goes into the firewall. If the cable got tugged out of the firewall, the grommit goes with it. Then as you release the cable, it goes back in under some of its own tension. But the edge of the grommit may get hung up on the edge of hole. This shortens the inner cable. So inspect your throttle-cable where it goes through the firewall.
EDIT: made changes for clarity...

Got the O-rings, fuel rail is back on...waiting for a friend to show up so he can watch the engine while I crank it.
I zip-tied the dipstick tube to the intake manifold for now, it barely moves around. I'll make it solid with the bolt tonight. thats ok right??
thanks...

I used a dremel and cut a "bolt" grove in the dipstick mount. That way you can leave the bolt in. Of course, if you've already got the manifold back on this is no help at all.
I thought this was going to be a post on the dreaded "snap ring" issue. Wanted to let everyone know that it took Mad George, Biggles, and I just over an hour to replace the thermostat! Feelin' pretty darn good right abount now! Must be a three man job!
