Transmission Clutch help

Hi,
I recently got my transmission rebuilt and a new SACHS Power clutch put in. Right after the car was rebuilt, it was put away for 5 months.
Today I took out the car, and noticed a few things.
The car shift smoothly...very nice. However, when I downshift...I hear the whole car vibrate as if I am just learning to drive stick.
Let me explain better...
Let's say I am doing 70km/hr in 3rd gear...and I slow down to 60. Now when I reach sixty, I let go of gas, and, assuming my clutch was pushed down, I begin to lift it...when it reaches the friction point (and a bit before), I get HEAVY HEAVY vibration (sounds like transmission is going to fall on the floor!).
Now I am not keeping the clutch at the friction point, but even if I was going to, the car should slow down without problems correct? I can only downshift when I am revving very low, and under 2000rpm.
Also, if I am in 2 nd gear, and I release all pedals (to make car slow down alone), I hear the my transmission hissing loudly. I was told these are the bearing and should go away with time.
Anyways, I just to know what you guys think this can be? I've only driven in 1st, 2nd and 3rd and have only downshifted from 3rd to 2nd.
Any ideas? Please....

What all did they replace when they rebuilt your transmission. Somebody rebuilt my nephews trans before he got the car and it started doing this. I've been into it a couple times and everything looks good, but I don't know what they were in there for or what they replaced.

The main thing was the 2nd gear synco and throw out bearing. At the same time the other syncros were replaced with either new, or used (but better condition) ones. Also, all seals, bearing etc...

sounds like something leaked on the clutch disc, or is greasy from being replaced, and is chattering badly. I degreased my motor and had some chatter for a few days until I wore the gunk off of the disc.

I thought it was bad for these cars to use the rear wheels to slow the engine? I read that somewhere. But it sounds like that your clutch needs to be worked in.. just like brakes do.. I am in the middle of replacing my clutch. will let you know if I have the same problems. till it gets seated properly.. I would expect some slippage and grab for a bit.. AH now I remember.. having the wheels drive the engine increases the chance of a timming belt failure.. I think?... seems right.
