"The only special work required is a 90 degree fitting for the low pressure side of the compressor, filing a bit off the alternator bracket, and a one inch shorter drive belt. "

Why's that? Can't you tap into the low-pressure line up by the top of the strut-tower?

Danno,

Did you recharge your system using the valve by the strut tower yet? How did it turn out?

Hi Danno..

My experiences have been with the earlier design where the low pressure port is directly on the compressor without any access to other locales. If the design was changed (which it never should have been designed the way it was in the first place) and the low pressure side was made more accessable) that is a good thing. However,if the suggestion is to sever the low presssure hose and relocate the port, this is major surgery requiring the system to be opened to the atmosphere, something I try never to do unless it is absolutely necessary. Let me know. I have never had the pleasure of working on the "later model" systems.

Thanks

Bob S.
