Does anyone have a pair they want to get rid of or otherwise know where to get them?

I dont have any but just wanted to tell you that a rep from that company told a friend of mine that their axles are no stronger than stock turbo axles over the phone. This could be or could not be true but it came straight from the reps mouth.

If the rep was referring to 83-86 axles he is correct, NA and Turbo are the same, 87+ I don't know. That's why I buy the $89/axle versions from Kragen or Autozone made by Cardone. That Lifetime warranty goes a long way in making that decision a no-brainer.

What does the warranty warrant?

Thats it, and it doesn't matter how much torque I put into them? Wow. I'm making a phone call.

GKN specializes in sintered metal parts. I'm not sure if this is how CV joints are normally produced though. They make boat loads of connecting rods and tranny parts in a plant I visited in middle PA.

Picked up a set of the Cardone CV's 6 months ago from Kragen for my 951 and have been running well. If you have a wasted set, trade them in $150 off for the pr. Sweet deal and makes it an easy fix.
