Of course, he missed the point. It's not the sort of thing you would just buy and drive as-is. It's sort of thing you'd buy to use as a foundation to work on and make it all nice and pretty with some hard work. Or make into it a track car.
Point is, it's a project car, and I don't think people are too much into committing to a project right now, what with all the financial pain going around. The thing about buying a car to work on is that you don't always know how much money you're going to end up putting into it. That kind of open-ended financial commitment is the first thing to go in tough times, no?
That absolutely gorgeous white 951 that sold here for 15k a while ago is a good example. Whoever bought knew exactly what he would end up paying - 15k. Everything was already sorted and *done*. The only thing left to do with that car was to enjoy it.
Something that needs some work, you don't always know what you're getting into. People are nervous and would rather have a sure thing than a bargain.

More than welcome Alex.
Mr Voodoo is entitled to his views or to give constructive feedback in a nice way, just like we alll are. But when someone comes on a FS threads with an agenda, which twisted into personal attacks against several people, Rennlist will not stand for that, period.
Anyway, I hope someone buys this as a project.

And that is why I described him as "uncouth" and his ejection as "thoroughly deserved".

If this was in my area I'd consider it but you're way too far away.
anyways what I'd do is strip the interior properly, ie get all the glue and drit and grap off the metal. Then I'd paint the interior black with por15 which won't chip then the interior would look way better than right now. I'd also take those ripped up seats out and try to find some light weight race seats if you can get them for cheap.
better option would be to redo the interior but that would be too time consuming for me lol.
I think you should leave the door panels on and just properly clean and paint the interior black then it'd look decent, like the interior of a lotus lol (sort of).

For the love of god, somebody buy this car!
I've got a nice complete carpet set I just pulled out of an '82 931 that would work great in this car if a buyer wanted to go back to a stock look. Front, rear, hatch, and hatch side pieces. The carpet itself is in great shape, but the color (black) is a little faded. A dye job and it would look like new. $100.
