Question Headlights on Viagra

I have a question with a obvious answer, but I am hoping there is a common or quick fix.

My headlight will not go down (there is the viagra link.....)

The headlight went out on the driver side, so, since these were the original headlights that came with the car (well they have been the same since 91 for sure), I spent the $20 and bought new ones.

The same thing, the headlights stayed up and the driver side light did not come on. I tried the working bulbs (the other 3 (the original headlight worked on the other side), and still nada.

Other than tracing wires looking for a short, is there something common or ez?

Thanks!

Big spender, $20 bucks for a pair of headlights?!! You probably deserve it. <img src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" border="0" alt="[hiha]" />

The common thing would be ground, except you are on either side of the frame rails with your problems.

Go through the standard trace down.

Thanks for the reply. I figured as much. Do they share a common ground. I doubt it, since only one light is out. Does the light and the motor share a ground.

I am hoping to do as little tracing as possible! As you can tell.

Hey, the lights always worked, and I how often is $20 a possibility when it comes to fixing anything on this car!

They share a common ground on the right hand side of the frame rail, which would fit, exactly. But you say you have a problem with the left headlight. Doesn't fit into a neat box like you would like.

So, the common ground is the uni-body, not a very good one after all these years.

Could also be flexed out headlight wires on the left that you never noticed until, the bar stopped working.
