I'm planning to make splitters for my 944. I have a crack on the bottom of my front valance. I like the look of a splitter, and I think I can have it cover the crack. It would make an inexpensive repair piece too, instead of replacing the valance. What's the correct term here? A pair of splitters or a splitter? It would go well with the turbo rear valance.

for a front splitter:

what i am planning to do within the next few weeks and think would be the easiest route is this:

buy a 1/8th sheet of aluminum and place it under the front bumper so it sticks out about 10 inches.. trace a line around the edge of the factory bumper onto the aluminum, and then cut the trace out. then bolt it onto the bumper sticking out a few inches..

you can then wrap that metal in carbon fiber or whatever u want..

Maybe I'm missing something here?

Other than a bit of air to the brakes (do 944s really need that much more air to the brakes?), why would you want to put rear air intakes on a 944? Is this just for aesthetics or is it ricer envy?

it ha salready be done. A tuneer in Geramny already made a 951 with all these option. They are no longer available

I presume that will be for your new 911 turbo.

i did this for my car and i got to admit for all its worth just cover the original one with a sigle layer of 2 x 2 twill and give it a clear gel coat it turns out the exact same as a full cf one but takes less life from you.
