Post AJ-USA rocks!

Just a quick note about a happy experience with a vendor... I had never bought anything from them before now, as I am very happy with Ian Riley, my normal vendor of choice, but AJ-USA had been tempting me with the 930S steering wheel for some time. Once John D announced AJ-USA's Xmas special for Rennlist members, I bit the bullet and ordered a steering wheel and some stainless steel brake lines from them last Thursday. I figured it would be after xmas before I would see the package, but to my surprise, it showed up tuesday! Even better than that, tho... the quality of the merchandise was first rate.

The steering wheel is on the car already, and I am all grins here... thank you, AJ-USA!

Regards, ...Scott

Do you have a pic of the wheel? I am curious if it only has one seam in the leather around the outside.

Its definitely nice... if I get motivated, I might sneak outside and take a picture, but it is cold out and my neighbors already think I am weird, so I don't want to push it... And yes, it only has one seam down at the bottom.

There was a thread the other day about SS brake lines and whether a DOT rating was important. I thought no SS lines were DOT approved, simply because there's no way to inspect the rubber underneath to identify any deterioration or other problems. That's not to say that the SS lines aren't superior.

Good luck,
Ron

They are not DOT approved (no stickers or any markings that would indicate that they are), but appear to otherwise be a quality unit. I will be installing them shortly, as I have to mess with one of my rear wheel bearings in my 951, so I will report how they fit at that time. I anticipate zero problems tho.

Out of curiousity, what did they sell for. The reason I bought the AJ units was the cheap price, plus the fact that I was already paying shipping on the steering wheel, so the shipping was (basically) free.

I really need to order something from Jason soon, as he has been a great supporter of the list... (oh, and you too, Skip! lol)
