Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know there will be a <a href="http://www.scca.org/amateur/performance_rally/index.html#rallycross" target="_blank">rallycross</a> this weekend in Pittsburgh at the all new <a href="http://www.beaverun.com" target="_blank">BeaveRun motorsports complex</a>.

I'll be there for sure, its still up in the air whether I'll be driving or not. I'd love to take the new Fiero, but I'm still not sure it will be inspected by then and I haven't driven it on road enough to be comfortable (I need the car to drive the 1000 miles I do each week). I'm trying to convince some of my friends to either let me use their car or chip in on renting a pickup truck to run.

I thought it would be cool if any of you in the area wanted to come out. 944s should be pretty darn good at rallyx, excellent balance/weight distribution. If your car is too nice (or too low in my case) to play with, bring some old beater, its sure to be a load of fun.

dammit... why doesn't this kind of stuff go on in north cali?

i decided back in school that i was going to build a rally car when i graduated. the 951 was my second choice when i realized to my dismay that there are no rallies in this part of the state except those silly tsd ones.
