OT: Why the A-Team was a great show...
This is very off topic, but I was flipping through Channels on TV this afternoon (CNBC is getting depressing) and well I see the A-team van 4 wheel drift through a corner. Now driving a car is one thing, but a GMC full size van, now that is talent.
I just love it when a plan comes together.....

Haha, I watched it for a couple minutes this morning as well! Hehe.. you're right, nothing quite as great as a plan coming together...Haha!! It should have been a cartoon. I remember this one episode where they decided the best way to get in to a dead cops funeral unnoticed was to use a hearse, so they decided to spend an afternoon in a junkyard restoring one. End product? A brand spanking new hearse with a trap door on the roof which gave way to a spring loaded casket, which spung Mr T on to the roof (so he could shoot as many bad guys tires as possible)..Holy, not as bad as the time they spent an afternoon restoring a beater boat and converting it into a coast guard cruiser....

ahh yes.... truly a great show. there once was a day when the powers that be allowed the masses to be entertained by stories in which the protagonists utilized oxy-acetlyene torches for cutting and welding.
now that would be deemed to arcane to show on tv.
let the dumbing down of all america continue!!
Ben, on second thought, at least today they could shoot people

That day is still here! Check out JUNKYARD WARS sometime and get all the torching you can handle!
As for the A-Team, the silliest part of the show was not letting people die. Now, don't get the wrong idea about me, I'm no gun toting lunatic (I'm from Canada, eh?) but when the bad guys crash a helicopter into the side of a mountain, which proceeds to explode and roll down the hill in flames, it's a little hard to take when they all stagger out of the wreckage! Anyone remember that episode? I PITY YOU, FOOL!!!

I used to drive a '95 Astro Cargo Van. It had a decent amount of power and very little weight on the rear wheels. It was lots of fun to give it full throttle and a little extra steering around tight corners to get a nice little power on slide. Heh... I was such a menace!

I pity the fool that doesnt dig the Team!
Dont forget Greatest American Hero and Man from Atlantis. Oh yeah, and Wonder Woman and The Incredible Hulk. The greatest superheroes of the 70's and 80's.
Where are the superheroes now when we need them? All we get is lame-*** reality shows, as if reality werent depressing wnough already.
Didnt we learn anything from Sally Jesse Raphael and Jerry Springer? The average American is a nose-picking, mouth-breathing moron. I would much rather watch Bruce Banner lose his cool, than some dull-witted goon attempt to eat a cockroach. Or listen to that fscking leprechaun say "Who wants to be a Millionaire?". How many more stupid-*** reality shows do we need?
"Next on Fox! Americas Most Dangerous Colons: This week we search for the infamous "Phantom ****ter"! Followed by the latest CBS hit sensation, "Survivor 14: Prison Follies" Watch as unsuspecting dumb-asses get ***-raped by huge men with no lubrication! The whole family will enjoy the screams of pain, as this weeks reject gets shanked and voted off the cellblock.
When did I become so jaded about television? When I realized it sucks goat *****, I guess.

Wasn't that EVERY episode?? <img src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" border="0" alt="[hiha]" />
One of the funniest ones was when they made the truck with the cannon that shot cabbages. I think MR.T used some old chewing gum and a piece of tie-wire(the ORIGINAL MacGuyver).
