I have the Street Racer GT seats which are basically the same exact thing. They fit fine. Attached to the car using Wedge Engineering seat adapter and Recaro sliders.

Relatively comfortable (have done over 450miles in them in one day..too and from the track + time spent on track) though i do wish for a little more support under the thighs and a cushion for the lower back on long rides might be nice also.

yes they'll fit but you'll need adapter brackets. Not a big deal though. I have very similar seats in my car and they're great - comfortable, high quality and supportive

Sure, you just need to space the holes in for a narrower mount. No biggie with some flat steel.

Ditto what Jon said about comfort. That's why i bought recaros and am using the recaro height adjustable sliders.

Sparco sliders, not recaro are the correct ones. Got the brackets from Paragon. Also got a mounting kit for about $6 a seat from a car web site. cant remember which though, Jon may have the receipt. The kit came with the proper grade 8 bolts. you dont want to use regular bolts to hold the seat in.

easy to do if you can drill through 1/4" steel.

The bracket is basically eight holes. four for the seat, and four or six for the floor.

Thanks for the tips guys!
I am going to look at the seats tomorrow. He wants $350 for the pair with sliders for a civic, so I think its a good deal, my idea was to see how the sliders look compared to the stock mounting points then make any brackets I might need. And dont worry I really would like to live so grade 8 all the way!

if it has civic sliders then I would say they are the same as the sparco sliders.

he probably has an adapter plate for the civic. so i think all you would have to do is drill the holes to mate the plate to your 944 floor.

here is my time saving tip of the week. get a 6mm (pretty sure it is six not eight) allen head on a socket. raise the seat all the way if you have electric, then loosen up the factory bolts with all your strength, then use the socket to take them out. the socket sure beats the allen in, spin 45deg, out, in, spin 45 deg, repeat as necessary.

OK well these seats weren't what I was looking for he said they were the street racer version but they were the Atlantis Fixed back seats designed for a much smaller person (I'm 6'3" 245) and they were in much worse shape than I had anticipated...so the search continues...

And to the person who suggested Porsche Sport seats, I dont have that much to spend on seats I just brought up the BRIDE and the MOMO seats b/c they were what appeared to be good deals...But my seats currently still work and aren't that beat up just a little worn up with a few tears in the driver side bolster. So they will stay in, another reason I was looking for seats is the fact that I am putting a new dash, and carpet in the car so I figured while I was in there...
