Bump -
Excerpts:

"This is the final development of Porsche's 924/944/968 series. Only 4 were ever built. This is the final one that Porsche built and the only one in it's original condition. Price from the factory was 228,000 DM."

"It was also the last front-engined racecar built by Porsche and the last 4 cylinder racecar built by Porsche. It still has the restrictor plate in place and generates 337 HP. Horsepower can easily be increased as demonstrated by other Turbo RS cars that now have 450 HP or more."

Surprised more people don't find this interesting...

That really is the best buy interms of a 944 series car. The 968 Turbo RS was the pinnicle of performance and having only 4 produced makes them VERY rare. Since it was the last one official produced and of the 4 it is probably closes to it's last exit from the factory, it is really a bargan that should only go up in value. Maybe not now, but in 10-15 years I bet alot of people would be kicking themselves for not buying this car. To bad I don't have the money to buy it! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

Yeah, 60k seems really cheap for that car. Maybe I can convince my parents I really don't need a college education.

If only....

I would take that car over just about anything else to ever roll out of Stuttgart.

How can I come up with $65K?

Anyone wanna buy a house? My wife would be pissed if we were sleeping out of the Porsches though.......hmmm....

Amazing cars. My only problem with them is that if I bought one, I would be afraid to race it for fear of damaging it. I would be devastated if I significantly damaged such a rare car.

Car #1 is near where I work. I've never seen it but plan on taking a long lunch someday to go take a look.
