Post clutch pedal making "clicking" sound/feeling when depressed

When depressed, during the first inch or less of travel I am getting a "clicking" sound and feeling from the mechanism emanating from inside the car, under the dash.

Any ideas? TIA!

Check piviot bushings. When worn, the petal can **** slightly to one side, catching or rubbing the spring

MAN I just went to take a look at it now....getting under the dash/steering column must be the hardest most awkard/uncomfortable thing...you almost have to be a contortionist to fit underneath there

It's a write off Kevin...

I'll do you a favour and give you "a couple hundred" for it...

No need to thank me...Way I figure it's the least I can do for a Porsche brother <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

See Kevin, the advantages of owning an 86 non-airbag!!!

I pull off the Horn Pad, grab my socket wrench and take off the wheel, recline the seat, slide in, and bammo, easy access! I could almost fall alseep under there! SO EASY!

I'll tell you what Kev, since I'm such a nice guy, I'll let you trade cars with me, so that in the future it'll be easier job for you to do!

Um, guys, it's easier to get under the dash when you remove the driver's seat first!!!
