Default Help with replacing interior!

Hey all, I want to replace my brown/tan interior with all black. I have a carpet kit on the way, but I need advice on order of operations, and where to get parts cheapest. I'm not interested in purchasing just yet, but I want to plan ahead. This is a project for the spring!

i'd say start with what covers the center consol and then go from the front to the back of the car. then the obvious, rear seats then front(the more room the merrier).

what parts are you looking for? trim, seats ect...?

It's an 84, but the dash is cracked, the carpet is peeling, some of the threading on the seats is worn. It's the original interior, and there has been a lot of... modifications made. PO didn't much care if it looked pretty, he used it for AX only, and occasionally a drive on a nice day. I want to replace everything though, so if worn is what you want, well why not :] I am unsure what VGC means, could you explain this to me?

Thanks dv8! Big help! As for the parts, most are in pretty good shape, but obviously they're old and at least somewhat worn. The glove box doesn't sit quite straight, though I haven't figured out why, the wheel is actually not on, something to do with springs not working. It came with a momo on there, and I haven't looked at the original very much at all. Which parts are you looking for?
