Default Brushed script door handles ... best 30 minute upgrade (PICS)

Since the paint was flaking off the handles, so I decided to go with the brushed look. Little bit of sanding and some 3m sponge and voila... looks 100% better.

very nice - i like it a lot. Before you put it back on, though, I'd suggest you might want to think about getting it clear anodized to protect the finish

you should also get some brushed or polished fuchs to match

if they do get scratched, just keep some steel wool around to rub it out, like a delorean...

Nice, I like how the script keeps the black! Post some pictures of them installed. I'd be interested. If they look nice, I'd consider doing this to mine.

This is what all the VW guys do - ****** up script handles, polish them to a mirror shine, and sell them to other VW guys for a fortune.

I think I actually like this "brushed" look more than the mirror polish.
