The 968 M030 sways are 30/19, the 944 turbo and S2 M030 sways are 27/16.

I don't believe this is correct -- 27mm front are standard on the S2 (and turbos, I believe).

The S2 came with the same sways as the 1989 944 Turbo (which is the same as the 88 turbo S model which had M030), which indeed are 26.8/16. So these are the same as the S2 sways or the 1988/89 Turbo S sways. Info came from 944S2.com

Hi Stephen, I just pulled the stock rear bar off my '91 951 cab and it had a "hump" in the middle, just like the adjustable 19mm 968 M030 that I replaced it with.

The rear bar in the photo is straight. Are you sure it's a 944T/S2 M030?

Luis, it does have the hump, it's just not visable from this angle. It looks like a thin version of the 19mm adjustable with only 1 hole....

ok. i'm seriously interested. but how much without shipping? i was gonna take a ride down to Speciality Cars Ltd. tomorrow which is in Hopewell also.

other question, i have an 87 n/a, these would "bolt" right in correct, no need for a different set of bushings right?

also how can i make sure that my car isn't already equipd with the m030? the front sway is pretty beefy, and the rear isn't bad either, however it's not on the options list in the boot.

You'll also need to get a complete set of matching bushings with the correct inner diameters (less the two on the back bar if you want to reuse those.)

Lots of ways to measure the diameter of your existing bars. I'd use a clamp, then measure the gap. Or you can use a piece of string around the circumference, and divide by pi.

87 944 C, shot you a pm. As stated they will bolt in if you have the bushings, and the M030 would be on your option sticker in the rear hatch. I know these are bigger than the stock 944 sways, but I'd have to do some more research to find out the stock 944S sway diameter.
