Post 1988 944S glove box stopper

Hi guys,

My 1988 944S glove box stopper just broke. I'm not sure what they're called to buy one. Basically it's a plastic "J" that bolts onto the glove box door and then simply inserts into the dash to stop the glove box door from falling completely down. Any help would be appreciated.

Flight 951 and Judd 944,

Thanks for the information. I could not find them on 944online and I did send the guy on eBay an email. Thanks again for your help. Now if I can only get me car to idle!

Those J-hooks are about $40, you can make a hanger from thin cable and lead crimp connectors for about $5.

Hey, go here- FiberWerks- and scroll down to the bottom. They offer metal versions that wont break again! I replaced mine and they are great. I can actually use my glovebox without it swinging to the floor!
