i sent jose an email a while back asking about the intermediate shaft from a manual steering rack off an '83 car. he said he had one and i asked for a measurement of the length of the piece to confirm it was the appropriate part (part number would work too) and i haven't received a response...i need this piece, can you confirm that it is the right part?

I need a steering rack for 924s. power steering that is. Of course it should not leak. Also, I need rear lift hatch latches. the ones above the tailights on the inside. Also a passenger side mirror glass.
oh, and this thread reminded me-I also need a the little bushing that goes on the motor side of the a/c tensioner. If you like I will repeat this list at the above email link. I thought it was appropriate to ask here first.
PM me
I may want some other stuff too.

Oh. great job getting the kids involved.
Cars (Porsches specifically) started my career as a Porsche tech 24 years ago. It was because a couple of really cool guys took me in and showed me the proper way to do stuff.
I have helped many kids from the local high school in their graduation project. After the first guy there has been a lot of kids from the school wanting me to mentor them in our shop. Its been good for all of us. Mostly these kids started off cleaning parts, but went to the track with us an participated fully in prep and track side. They got a grade based on my assesment of their work.
this kind of help changed my life and I hope I could give back a little.
GREAT JOB.
I hope we can do business.
