A beautiful V8 Conversion.....

I really like the song Hurricane by Bob Dylan, but it's tough for me to actually listen to it. I've just heard it so many times that I can't really hear it anymore unless I concentrate. Everyone's had a mixtape that stayed in the dash of their Chevy Cavalier all summer, and now those favorites are forever lost to the brain's burnt out playback. It's kind of like how you never actually hear the pump in the fish tank or the hum of the refrigerator anymore--it's just background noise. Some middle school science teacher said that we only process about 10% of the sound that hits our ears and the rest gets blocked out from our brain. Thank god for that brain. I'd jump off a bridge if I had to listen to people talk to me all day.

that car is awesome!! Say what you want, but to pull that off, if it is done right is a work of art.
Should a 944 ever appreciate in value (which i doubt) to collector status and price, every one of us here with a modified car will fit the definiton of redneck, etc. that the artist that created that car is being called in this thread.
Was that the story of hurricane, the man the authorities came to blame, the answer to the question nobody but Ralph asked?
If I dont have my shirt alice, how will anyone know im a hurricaine?
you know you want the answer. admit it!

I love it when someone is selling a car that is allegedly 99% done. Yeah, all it needs it paint, and rather than paint it, the guy's gonna sell it. No doubt, the thing has fundamental issues (aside from being basically a rolling joke).

Hmm. I really dont see how that is too much different than a rat rod. Sure, the car in stock form could be worth a ton, but what it it's just a restored rust bucket hunk of junk that wasnt worth too much to begin with?
Does that mean that this is a disgrace too? Or other rat rods that have high valued, oem condition roots? I bet it's one of a kind.
lol look at the rear tires

the seller likes red, i dont like red. if he painted it red, i wouldnt want it (not that i do anyway). if he doesnt spend $ on paint, and i dont spend $ on a paint job i dont like everyone is a winner.
why is it a rolling joke? many think the fact that there are so many red 944s out there make the whole line of 944s a rolling joke.

Funny cars are distorted impressions of street cars that look funny.
A Porsche 356 with a giant blower sticking out of the hood is, to put it mildly, a distortion of the street car, and it looks funny.
Jokes are funny.
It rolls.
It is a rolling joke. I think the guy who built it would agree that there is an element of humor in it.
Sure, it's not perfect logic, but then explain how a multitude of red 944s is a joke.
