Question OT : Anyone wanna buy a pimpmobile?

A lady in my office has a 1977 Cadillac Eldorado pimp edition. It has 55,000 miles and appears to be free of rust. It is a front-wheel drive car with a hood about 7ft long. (You think I joke.) She wants $5k for the beast. Given the amount of interest inthe Zimmer a couple of weeks ago, this might be the best place to post the car. (Oh, it's gold too!)

I can take some and email them. (I can't post since I am not a member yet.) I found a picture of the body type, but the color is gold.

I had a 76 Eldorado, it was a great car. 500cid V-8, but heavy and a smog motor. The '77 got a downsized (425 cid?) motor but was otherwise the same.

The car is 19'6" long but the trunk and back seat are kinda small. That V8 and TH425 transaxle take up a lot of space under that massive hood.
I think I paid $750 for mine. It looked OK and the AC blew cold. I think all I did to it was a brake caliper, carb kit and a set of tires. Towed my dirtbike trailer over the mountains like a train.

Bryans951,
That's it!! The only thing about this car is that she is meticulous about her cars. She bought a later ('95?) model eldorado and this one only gets driven once every 2-3 weeks. It does not have any leaks, hence the car smells like, well, and old car with leather interior. I think she had some brake issues that were solved recently. I don't know if it have every been wrecked, I would doubt it though.

Brian,
She is bringing pictures tommorow to scan. I can send them when they are scanned. (Dead camera)
