Cool Some trip pictures from Germany!!

Ok, finally got these developed (old fashioned cameras suck). There's a bunch of stuff missing too, since I was too lazy to load a new roll of film into the camera straight away when the first one ran out...

Cars on board the ferry from Helsinki to Travemünde. The guy on the left is my co-pilot Jouni.
(full size pic here)

Beautiful landscapes at somewhere around the Eifel region, near the Nürburgring.
(full size pic here)

Taking a short pee break in the woods. Now really close to the track...
(full size pic here)

Quick car wash after breakfast at Hotel Wilhelmshöhe. That E30 M3 (owned by a nice British guy) was sweet!
(full size pic here)

Watching over the track after a good Schnitzel lunch...
(full size pic here)

Finally our turn to go driving! A lot of traffic this day though...
(full size pic here)

Arriving at hotel Jägerhof later on that day. Had some Weissbier on that terrace in the evening, very nice..
(full size pic here)

Replacing a vacuum hose at Porsche Centrum Aschaffenburg. The nice mechanic didn't charge anything!
(full size pic here)

... to be continued ...

Visited the Bianco Rosso collection, several hundred sports- and race cars... impressive.

<img src="http://www.cs.helsinki.fi/u/asujamaa/saksa/sized/10wheelcheck.jpg" alt=" - " />
My right rear wheel was shaking so we stopped by a tire shop in some smaller town... didn't find anything wrong with it though.

"Zimmer Frei" (rooms available); I guess that's a bit like Bed & Breakfast... spent the night in some guys attic before the F1 race.

<img src="http://www.cs.helsinki.fi/u/asujamaa/saksa/sized/12kimi.jpg" alt=" - " />
There's our Kimi, still on the lead at this point!

<img src="http://www.cs.helsinki.fi/u/asujamaa/saksa/sized/13watercheck.jpg" alt=" - " />
My friend Sebastian bought that silver '86 turbo during the trip... it was cheap b/c the waterpump was leaking, the temporary solution was to stop every now and then to fill the coolant reservoir up again..
<a href="http://www.cs.helsinki.fi/u/asujamaa/saksa/13watercheck.jpg" target="_blank">(full size pic here)</a>

<img src="http://www.cs.helsinki.fi/u/asujamaa/saksa/sized/14boarding.jpg" alt=" - " />
Trip is over, waiting to board the ferry back to Finland..
<a href="http://www.cs.helsinki.fi/u/asujamaa/saksa/14boarding.jpg" target="_blank">(full size pic here)</a>

<img src="http://www.cs.helsinki.fi/u/asujamaa/saksa/sized/15stuff.jpg" alt=" - " />
Gee, we didn't have nearly this much stuff in the trunk when we left! All the souvenirs added up quite a bit ...

It would be so nice not to have to cross an ocean to visit those places! Nice pics.

It's amazing to see how nice a 951 looks compare to the 911 and 928. There is something special about those hips..

Hitbyastick, I did enjoy my stay for sure!! This was the best vacation I've ever had, hands down...

Andrew, they're 18" Mak Force wheels (sold as TSW in US I think), 8" wide front 9" wide rear. Tires are Goodyear Eagle F1, 225/40 front 255/35 rear. ET 49 is a bit close for late offset car, but I don't have that problem since I can set them pretty much where ever I want using appropriate spacers.

Thanks for the comments everybody, I hope Tommy gets some more pics up soon, and I might be able to get photos from other guys who were on the trip as well!
