Early Offset rims on late 944?

Post Early Offset rims on late 944?

well,i found an excellent set off bbs rims off of a 930S and i was wondering if those could fit my 87 951?if not,what would i need to do or buy to make them fit?ive been looking for a while for these bbs rims and they're black!..drool...the price is just right,$600 with almost new tires.thanx in advance

They'd stick out too far and most likely hit the fenders.

Here's a rule of thumb:
You can fit late offset wheels on an early offset car with the use of spacers, but you cannot fit early offset wheels on a late offset car.

23mm (early) vs. 55mm (late) is too great a difference: like slevy951 said, the tires will likely stick out too far.
