look up "Blown 944"

He built a 300+ HP NA car....well, NA engine with a M90 eaton supercharger. He did have to run E85 fuel, but it had a stock ECU (no mega or micro squirt needed). If I recall, he only needed new injectors and an adjustable FPR in addition to his homemade kit.

He might have already chimed in on this thread....I didn't read every page.

Could try a home-made plasma ignition system to improve combustion. Ref:
http://www.mpgresearch.com/forum/vie...php?f=7&t=2539

His VW Combo went from 14mpg to 17mpg, with best of 27mpg. Torque increased, he could climb hills without downshifting. Only negative seems to be the plugs cannot handle plasma for too long. So would need to change plugs more often. Plasma ignition is like that seen when using an arc welder. Maybe iridium/platinum plugs are better?

If anyone tries it, please post results with a 944/968.
