Rear seat removal - replacement carpet?
Where can you get carpet to fill the nice gap that the rear seat leaves when you take it out???
Thats about it. Thanks.

Why am I always suspicious of folks who have web sites or other advertising that contain information or claims that are...uh...less than accurate....

Uh, huh. Yeah, right... I'll just hold on to my 968 and quit worrying about my retirement investments...;-)

I would like to find something like that too. The 924 GTS had a contoured carpet where the rear seat should go and it looks pretty cool. Certainly better than just leaving the glue covered metal exposed.

I'm wanting to do the same thing ecpunk- do you have any pics of how it looks w/the bottom out and everything else intact? I would LOVE to have a few pics at various angles and close ups of the section- my mechanic and I are trying to decide what to do w/mine when we rip out the back seat completely (I already have the fold down part, as well as the seat belts, etc, out). I lost ~25lbs total- wish I hadn't done it now- it looks like SH** that way. I want to make some type of storage thing, maybe more basic than the 968 cab deck, and if not, then I still want to be able to insulate REALLY WELL to try to prevent road noise and vibration- I'm getting big on the insulation and sound deadening thing.
BTW, one place you might try would be Original Fit Interiors- their # can be found in Excellence- they put lot's of ads in there, but they don't have a website (that I'm aware of). For other suggestions, and, the # for OFI, look up some of the many other carpet threads on this board- I've responded to many of them w/their #...
