ENZO!!...that was Craig Seko in his S2 in the Targa Newfoundland...and yes that was the Atlantic ocean he went into. This happened in 2007. Search baldheadracing as username for thread.

I heard a story about this when I was at Mosport. Apparently they ended up in the ocean, was in there for 45 mins, fried everything electrical that was on. Everything that wasn't on was ok. They had spare computers in the car, luckily they were in a ziplock bag. Unfortunately, they came out of the zip lock, but they weren't on, so they dried them out, made a fiberglass windsheild and finished the race.
