What's the info on the mail in rebate? Is there a form online somewhere?
Form was at front checkout counter. Original Bosch form, not the multi product PEP Boys rebate form.

I don't think it makes much of a difference. There's only a couple of battery manufacturers left. Most of them are made by Johnson Controls. I think Interstate still makes most of their batteries.

The Interstate MTP-91 is black - at least the last one I saw was. I guess I'm lucky - there's an Interstate dealer local to me that sells blems for $25 (no label, no warranty). I'm running a blem now, and I'll run another one when this one dies.

The Interstate's were all black cased. About a month ago they started putting out White Case with Black tops for some odd reason. I like the all black personally.

I didn't know about Bosch making batteries... cool.

I'm on my fourth 944. I put a Sears DieHard battery shortly after purchasing each of them, and never had to think about the battery again.
