Post Update on pinging/knocking...

Well...after pulling everything apart, I found that there was a split vacuum line that goes from the bottom of the throttle body to the temperature valve under the untake manifold at the back of the engine. I thought I'd found my problem... HUH!! I replaced the hose - no difference, except the temperature valve should work better now - hows it work anyway?

My next step is to clean the injectors, and change the fuel filter. I will also be odering a Fuel pressure gause to mount on my fuel rail.

Can anyone tell me how I would go about cleaning the injectors?

Thanks...

Had mine done by Marren Motorsports at <a href="http://www.injector.com." target="_blank">www.injector.com.</a> Nice job.

Just a happy customer,

Are you looking at the heater core control valve? If it is, it controls the flow of hot water to the heated core. If not, got a pic?
