Post Man, those new Lightnings are quick!!

I was in Vegas a couple weeks back visiting a buddy of mine who lives there. He has the enviable job of making fat-cash being a bartender at one the nicer "gentleman's clubs" in town. Anyways, he had a bit too much money on his hands, so he just bought this Ford F-150 Lightning, with a 5.4L supercharged V8 (380hp). Man, off the line I wouldn't want to tackle him in my 951. Once I get going, I could take him, but that thing hooks up VERY WELL. Apparently, a simple chip and pulley upgrade, and that thing makes over 450hp. So, be warned, the next time one pulls up to you at a stoplight. BTW, that's me on the left. Please, no comments about our "manly" pose.

I'm sure some homophobic idiot will post something stupid. Don't worry about it when it happens.

Those things are blisteringly quick. I saw one where the guy had lowered it quite a bit and put lower profile tires on it, done other unspecified crap to the suspension. I'm not sure I could even lose that one in the twisties. Cool rides.

I actually wanted to get one as my tow vehicle, but I was worried about how it would hold up under that kind of strain. They said it would be fine, but still.

Anyway, I think ford did a great job with these trucks, and I would really liket to see one come out to the race track and see how it stacks up.....

Know of a guy that did the chip and pulley - he ran a 13.0 at 109 in the 1/4 mile...his engine lasted 2700 miles...lol. Its a Ford at the end of the day.

Ian: The truck would be fine you'd just leave the boat on the ground somewhere after ripping it from the trailer

It is a well known fact to all males, that strip clubs have the BEST disc jockey available. The music can not be beaten anywhere! I have even been known on occasion to yell.....

"Tell that girl to stop wiggling up there, its distracting!"

What?....oh ya, we were talking about Fords. Sorry I was distracted.

Humm, a boat, well I need one of those first, lol....

It would have been used to tow around my 951, which right now you could do with a VW golf because I don't think it weighs very much w/o the motor, glass, doors, suspenion, etc, etc....

And then the engine blows up, i was just rading about someone who did exactly that. Two runs down the drag strip and then poof!

yeah, until he hits a crack in the pavement, bottoms out, tears off his exhaust and blows out one of his $400 "performance" 20 series tires.

LOL

The only reason I go to the strip clubs here in winston-salem is because they have the best beer specials in town, and believe me you will need it to think 80% of the girls that work there are hot, most are fugly....

Well Ian (nice name btw), the club where my buddy works would blow your mind. All the girls are model material. Anyways, back to cars (er, trucks)...

Thanks for the info regarding blowing up said engine. I'll inform my friend that the chip and pulley combo may not be the best idea. He drives like a maniac, so he'd probably blow it up in no time. The suspension is stock, but believe me, that thing handles like no truck has any right to. He goes around corners faster than most 951 owners would dare. It really is an unbelievable truck. I'm not a big truck kinda guy, but this thing really does things you'd never expect out of a truck. As far as the tow vehicle thing goes, that thing would be the sweetest tow vehicle going!!

I friggin hate this one chicks routine at this bar I used to go to. She was kind of a dominatrix and she would always perform to Rammstein's "Haste mich" (sp???). Damn, that was annoying. Oh yeah, and if I ever hear that damn song that goes "just cause she dance a go-go, dont mean that she's a ho no.....". I hate strip clubs. I was tired of them by the time I was 16!
