my car has that same rear lower piece. i hate every minute of it haha. im gonna rip mine off and go back to stock

Congratultions on the early '44 acquisition. I believe that's about as pure a sportscar experience you'll find.

I have that same rear center panel and I don't much care for it, but I think removing it will actually require some body fill and/or repainting, so I haven't tried.

Other than the color, what is the condition of the interior? I think I'm one of the few on here who prefer the old dash to the new oval dash.

I also agree that the look of the car would benefit from spacers or larger wheel/tire combo to fill out the wheel wells a little better.

thank you again i have plans to get a nice set of wheels to fill the gaps up....what size and off set should i be looking at? and yes is my car so ill keep it the way i want to.... thank you!!!!!

Interesting thread. Nice to see there is some balance in the universe. I flew from PA to NC to purchase a black 944 two years ago......and drove it home.

You flew from NC to PA to purchase a white one....and drove it home..lol
