2 questions:
first, cant find the wire in the parts catalog that connects from the slip ring to the air bag mine is an 87 and the cat only shows the 86 slip any one know the part # for the wire

second, clarkes talks about the connector for the airbag reset, dont know where to look for the connector and the one i found was down by the fire wall but it seems like a different shape fom the one he describes. pic would nice.

The airbag wiring under the drivers side footwell has an orange connector for the slip ring, and then the slip ring has a black connector to go to the bag itself. The port is on the passenger side by the glovebox door, at least on my 968, I think it's in the same area on the 951, but hopefully someone can clarify.

Please search. This has been covered many times, and there are already threads with pictures.

Search this and the 951 section, subject line only for airbag. That's what I did when I first got my car and was trying to reset the airbag light. Only I ended up ripping everything out!

The molex connector for re-setting the system was found against the firewall on the passenger side. Looked just like the one pictured. I got lucky to find it by feeling around, also get a friend to help instead of making a long wire and trying to time it yourself. Much easier w/ 2 people. Btw, we just did this procedure on Wed. Make sure your ground is good and it may take several tries. When it comes to airbag wiring or components, I never repair...always replace.
