Default Found: Correct tool for removing pins from mirror connector (AMP 305183)

Hey guys,

NO ONE around me in ANY store knows what I'm talking about when I say pin remover and describe what I'm trying to do so can anyone post a picture that I can print out and take with me?

I just poked them out with an appropriately sized screwdriver. A bit caveman but it worked fine.

No screw driver that I own will get all the way down to the bottom. And I'm using some pretty damn small jewelers screwdrivers! ITS SO FRUSTRATING!

Thanks! Anyone know where you can buy one? Not RadioShack, O'Reilys, Autozone, Fry's, etc...

Ok, searched and can't stand it. I really don't want to play a guessing game with internet orders. Happen to know the part # of the tool in question?

Before I go buying things, I need a second opinion. Does it look like this will work? The tips look a little funny...

The Fry's in my area has pin extractors -- not a ton but at least a selection of "standard" extractors. Sure you search the whole store -- they are in the tool section. Can you post a close up on the connector, and can you tell what brand it is? Places like jameco.com and mouser.com carry pin-specific extractors if needed.

I called and asked and they said no, but I have yet to actually go up there and look. I "may" venture out on friday, but it's the one day of the year I ALWAYS stay home!
