Mine disengages with brake and by pulling back on the CC lever. Never tried the clutch to disengage.

I tried mine today, set the cruise while in 3rd gear and shifted into 4th with the cruise set. While the clutch pedal was depressed the rpms dropped, after I hit 4th and released the clutch the cruise resumed the set speed.

All of the other vehicles that I have driven with a stick and cruise would kick the cruise off when you hit the break or clutch pedal.

On the original question I thought you were asking something different.

Most intuitive Cruise I've used. I wish all cars were like this instead of 6+ non-illuminated buttons on the steering wheel. Love the way it's just push, pull, push down... Even the re-engage after clutch application is pretty slick.

Now, if mine would just stop loosing it's mind every 3rd time I use it... Sounds like I need to get a resoldered board/brain box one of these days.

Keep the shiny side up,

Don't hold the clutch in too long. I.E. don't take it out of gear with the cruise on. The unit only gives you so long to put it back in gear until it trys to raise the engine speed to get it to the right cruise speed, and if its not in gear or if the cluctch is in, it will redline in about 1.5 seconds and stay there till you disengage the cruise.
