Summer time is here, and it is becoming hard to drive in the hot weather. I am having a problem with my A/C though
. The control's for the A/C work perfectly fine until I turn it on, and it blows hot air. What can be the problem? Would it need re-charging? And how would I go by re-charging it? Thanks.

I'm having the same problem on my 89 951. The motor works fine, but hot air blows out. There is a valve on the A/C gas line that looks like one of those found on a bicycle's tire. Unsrew the cap and depress the valve. On my car, this line is to the left of the engine coolant tank. If no gas escapes from the valve, chances are you need to recharge to gas. Let me know how much this costs if you go ahead and get it done.
