I haven't been able to drive my 944 for a month. I was busy at work the first week, then on Thanksgiving I was cleaning my eaves trough, just finished, went to step down on the ladder and it slipped out from under me. I fell straight down 9 feet landing on the side of the ladder. I think I cracked some ribs along with bruising. No broken vertebrae. There is no way I can handle the manual steering. Plates expire tomorrow for the season.

lol, yeah we have lots to be thankful for here up north too. As Jim says, if the pilgrims handed out donkeys we all would be having a piece of *** on Thanksgiving.

damn, it could have been waaay worst. i know someone that died falling off around a 9 foot drop from a ladder, i want to say your a lucky one but i dont wanna say anything >_>. wish you well and dont worry your car wont go anywhere

Oh my God, is the ladder okay? Just kidding.

I've fallen off a ladder, but it was no where near life threatening. Just bruised me up and made me feel stupid. Glad you made off as well as you did, all things considered.

Feel stupid yes, ladder did get bent but still works. Haven't been able to crawl up it as of yet. Going to the doc on Monday to get some good drugs. When I sneeze, I fall in the fetal position and call for my mommy.

the "dont do that" advice came from the doctor for the insurance co. to my wife after she was rear ended and had a wedge fracture etc. she said it hurts when she.... 'dont do that and it wont hurt'. so i actually did give you medical advice i got from a real doctor.

There is nothing worse than ribs. I broke two of them in Ju Jitsu and had to drive myself to the hospital still wearing my ghe...all they could do was give me drugs. It was during my allergy season and for 3 weeks I feared every tingle that felt like a sneeze or cough was coming on. Good luck and block out all comedy shows for awhile.
