Burning Brakes
Just as an intellectual exercise, let us imagine a $30k 944.
First of all, it would have to be an engine swap, possibly an LS6 or 7.
Swap in the 951 transaxle with the N/A 5th gear.
Limited slip differential.
Upgrade the brakes to yellows.
Upgrade the suspension and add some nice sway bars.
Give it a custom exhaust.
A tricked-out paint job.
And do lots of interior restoration work.
"Saratoga" sunroof.
Nice custom wheels.
What do you think? Are we close to 30k worth of car? Or do we need more bells and whistles?

It would take allot more than that even, to make this guys price sane.
