968 hatch on 944???

968 hatch on 944???
Has anyone ever done this? Will it even fit? Any ideas or recomendations? I would like to try it, but would like to know if it will fit.

Yes it will work and yes people have done it, you are best to buy a whole hatch off a 968 instead of trying to fit it to a 944 hatch though. In fact there were 944's sold in europe with the 968 hatch.

All 944s sold in the whole world in 1991 had the 968 hatch (more or less). I say more or less because the 968 hatch has the brake light below the spoiler, while the 1991 944 hatch has it in the normal 944 spot.
