Post caster adjustment tab locations for max +caster

Hi,

I would like as much positive caster on my 951 as possible. To do this should the tabs on the eccentric bolts face inwards to the centre of the car or outwards.

The tabs should move outwards towards the outside of the car to increase caster. This rotates the front of the A-arms forwards. I think the maximum amount is around 3.8-3.9 degrees.

Actually I think for max caster you want the tab to be parallel to the arm. If the arm is more or less parallel to the ground, max will be as Danno wrote. If, for example, you have the car lowered and the arm angles up from the chassis to the spindle, max caster will be set when the tab is parallel with the arm.
